FC 27 TOTW 8 Full Player List - Trinity Rodman Leads the Squad

Ephraim

The Team of the Week (TOTW) has always been one of the most anticipated limited-time card releases for players in the FUT 27 cycle. The eighth installment of the TOTW is now live, headlined by Trinity Rodman.

This batch features 23 In-Form cards, spanning goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. With a clear range of power levels, there are options to suit players with various budgets looking to strengthen their squads. For those eager to secure popular In-Form cards quickly, many players opt to buy FC 27 coins, bypassing the tedious, time-consuming process of grinding through objectives to earn currency.

Key Players

The standout star of FC 27 TOTW 8 is Trinity Rodman. Her 88 OVR Left Midfielder (LM) card boasts 92 Pace, 84 Shooting, and 85 Dribbling. Combined with the Controlled AcceleRATE archetype, she is exceptionally effective at breaking through on the flanks - making her the most valuable card in this entire release. Close behind are three 86-rated cards: Kerolin Nicoli (RM), Fermín López (CAM), and goalkeeper Unai Simón.

Morgan Rogers features with an 85 OVR CAM card; offering a well-rounded feel, he serves as a solid rotational option for the midfield. Other notable high-value cards include Yannick Carrasco (84 OVR) and Jan Paul van Hecke (83 OVR). The latter, a center-back, receives a significant upgrade over his base card, making him an excellent, budget-friendly choice for your defensive line. If your goal is to collect the full set, ensure you have plenty of FUT 27 coins on hand so you can strike when the cards first hit the market - a time often marked by high price volatility.

Full TOTW 8 Player List

The complete lineup consists of 23 In-Form cards, categorized by position. The goalkeeper is Unai Simón (86), while the defensive options include Jan Paul van Hecke (83), Lautaro Di Lollo (80), and Mads Pedersen (80). The midfield lineup is extensive, featuring Trinity Rodman (88), Kerolin Nicoli (86), Fermín López (86), Morgan Rogers (85), Yannick Carrasco (84), Victoria Pelova (82), Yasin Ayari (81), and Diego Moreira (81), alongside several other midfielders rated 80 OVR.

The attacking options include Ermedin Demirović (82) and Wout Weghorst (82), as well as players like Nusa, Samuel Mbangula, and Borja Sainz - all rated 80 OVR. Most of these lower-rated In-Form cards are affordably priced, making them better suited for use as fodder in Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) rather than as long-term fixtures in your main squad.

Advice on Opening Packs and Market Strategy

This batch of Team of the Week (TOTW) cards will remain in packs for one week. The drop rates follow the standard FUT 27 probabilities for In-Form items, meaning that pulling a top-tier card like Trinity Rodman relies heavily on luck. For the average player, a more prudent approach is to monitor price trends: popular cards often see their prices spike during the first two to three days of release, typically cooling off by the middle of the week.

If you plan to play FUT for the long haul, avoid sinking all your resources into opening packs. Instead, consider hoarding cost-effective TOTW cards, as future SBC requirements may drive up their market value. Many experienced players set aside FIFA 27 coins specifically for these TOTW release windows, allowing them to trade cards dynamically and grow their in-game wealth.

Who Should Consider These Cards?

TOTW 8 isn't exactly packed with "elite-tier" meta cards; rather, it offers solid, practical reinforcements. Players looking for explosive pace on the wings might prioritize Trinity Rodman, while those in need of a reliable goalkeeper on a budget could give Unai Simón a look. If you are building a squad with a focus on low-cost chemistry links, van Hecke and Kerolin are excellent choices. If your primary goal is completing SBCs, buying lower-rated TOTW cards directly from the market is far more economical than relying on the randomness of opening packs.
